• Recordar las diferentes experiencias, ideas y prácticas educativas, con una perspectiva de diálogo e intercambio

LA COMUNIDAD DE APRENDIZAJE - FILOSOFÍA
• Están diseñadas para cerrar la brecha existente entre la educación formal e informal, permitiendo la participación de grupos tradicionalmente excluidos de los sistemas educativos oficiales.
• Tienen la virtud de ser gestores del conocimiento.
• Brindan una alternativa para incrementar las oportunidades de acceso a procesos de aprendizaje innovadores.
• Son autónomos y organizados en torno a su propia realidad.
• Promueven el aprendizaje práctico y el empoderamiento, orientado a la revalorización del Patrimonio Cultural y el Talento Humano.
• Consideran desde su diseño una amplia participación, dando igual importancia a las autoridades epistemológicas (autoridades en virtud de su conocimiento), y a las autoridades ontológicas (aquellas autoridades por grado académico).
• No solo trabaja en beneficio de la comunidad, sino que también deja huella en cada persona.
Filosofía inspirada en los principios determinados por la Confederación de las Nacionalidades y Pueblos Indígenas del Ecuador - CONAIE - al momento de creación de la Universidad Intercultural “Amawtay Wasi – La Casa de la Sabiduría”.

• Provide an alternative to increase opportunities of access to collective learning processes.
• Are autonomous and organized around their own reality.
• Promote practical learning and empowerment, oriented towards the revaluation of Cultural Heritage and Human Talent.
• Consider by design broad participation, giving equal weight and importance to the epistemological authorities (authorities in virtue of their knowledge), and the ontological authorities (authorities by title or academic degree).
• It does not only works in behalf of the community, but also leaves mark on every person.
